Profhilo is a very safe treatment. It consists of pure hyaluronic acid with no added chemical compounds, it is 100% bio compatible and broken down naturally in the body.
Hyaluronic acid is a natural acid created in our skin responsible for skin hydration and maintaining elasticity, therefore, a pure hyaluronic acid treatment with no added chemicals or bio stimulator will minimise any allergic reactions.
However with any injectable fillers treatments, there is always presented risks. Risks such as vascular occlusion can still occur, but in very rare cases. Profhilo is a very low risk treatment but we still advise patients to seek reputable clinic with experienced Doctors.
