1. Can you get fillers with a cold sore?
We would recommend the cold sore be healed before considering lip fillers. If you have experience cold sores in the past, there is no issues for lip fillers.
2. What happens when Lip Fillers wears off?
The absorption rate of hyaluronic acid differs from individuals. Some patients with higher absorption rate will see fillers last for 4 – 6 months. When the fillers eventually wears off, your lips will return back to the state it was pre-treatment.
There will not be any loose skin in the area as your lips are not stretched a lot.

Lip fillers are not permanent and will last 4 – 12 months depending on metabolism rate of hyaluronic acid. For patients who are not satisfied with the results, hyaluronidase can be injected to dissolve the fillers.
There are semi permanent fillers (Polycaprolactone fillers) available, lasting 1 – 2 years, however it is not dissolvable.
5. Can I wear lipstick after Lip Fillers?
We do not recommend lipstick to be applied right after the procedure. However, it can be applied the day after the treatment,
