There will be a short downtime of 3 to 4 days. Side effects are minimal and typically involve swelling and redness for a day of two. Make up can be applied when fine pinpoint micro-crusting develops on the treated area after the second day. Most patients are able to return to routine activities on the third day. Most importantly, avoid direct and prolonged exposure to sun light for approximately 2 weeks or more.
