At BA Clinic, small-tattoo removal starts from S$198 for Q-Switch and S$298 for Pico per session, before 9% GST. Larger tattoos cost more per visit. Your total budget depends on the tattoo size, laser used and number of sessions.
Can I pay in instalments or use BNPL?
Yes. We offer 6-, 12- and 24-month instalment plans, plus BNPL options through Atome and ShopBack. WhatsApp us to confirm eligibility, terms and any fees before booking.
Is tattoo removal covered by insurance or MediSave?
MediSave does not cover cosmetic tattoo removal. For private insurance, check your policy’s cosmetic-treatment exclusions and obtain written confirmation from your insurer before booking.
What’s the catch with a low tattoo removal trial price?
The important figure is what you pay after the trial. Check the regular session fee, tattoo size covered and any package conditions. An attractive first-visit price gives an incomplete picture when later visits cost substantially more. Get the ongoing fees before committing.
Will I be pressured to buy a package at BA Clinic?
No. We believe in fair, transparent pricing and treatment focused on your needs. Tattoo removal requires multiple sessions, but we do not oversell treatments for the sake of it. We explain the recommendation and fees, and you decide whether to proceed.
Do cheaper tattoo removal creams work?
There is no established evidence that tattoo removal creams safely and effectively remove permanent ink. The ink sits deeper than these products reach. They also carry risks of irritation, burns and scars.
Does laser tattoo removal hurt?
Yes. Expect brief snapping or stinging sensations during treatment. Discomfort varies with the tattoo’s location and treatment settings. Discuss numbing options before your session.
Does laser tattoo removal leave scars?
Scarring is a recognised risk. Skin colour and texture changes are also possible. Tell your doctor about existing scars or a history of raised scars, and follow aftercare instructions carefully, including leaving blisters and scabs intact.
Does the National Skin Centre offer financial assistance for tattoo removal?
Yes. The NSC Health Fund provides financial assistance for youths at risk seeking tattoo removal to continue their education and reintegrate into the community. Contact NSC directly for eligibility and application details.
